At the Spring 2009 MDCH EMS Report, which was held at our 60th Professional Development Conference, MDCH announced some proposed changes to the practical CE application process. The SMEMSIC Executive Committee will be meeting with MDCH to discuss these proposed changes.

SMEMSIC has released the final position paper on the Education Standards, national Accreditation and national Registry issues. The paper is available for viewing by members in the members section.

It is the mission of the Society of Michigan EMS Instructor Coordinators to promote and support activities that enhance the growth and professional development of Emergency Medical Services education in Michigan. We have been providing assistance and support to EMS Instructors in Michigan for over 25 years and look to increase that support in the future.
